Had radio installed now car starts but dies a sec later do it 3 times andthen wont do anything replaced ecu it starts but does the same thing dash reads no bus

What's happened, is they have used the EECU communication (can bus) wire's as the electrical feed for your radio, corrupting the system, I've seen this done in many trucks, when two ways are installed...

Remove radio, and find where it gets its power from, remove those wires see if problems go away, if they do find different location for power to the radio, preferably from the fuse panel...

Cadillac ecu

    • 1 Turn the ignition switch to "Off."
    • 2 Pull down on the top of the fuse panel lid beneath the steering column. Remove the fuse panel lid.
    • 3 Grasp the fuse that is labeled "ECM" or "ECU." The inside of the fuse panel lid shows a chart indicating where each fuse is located.
    • 4 Pull the fuse straight out of the fuse panel to remove it.
    • 5 Turn the ignition switch to "ON" without starting the engine. Leave the Cadillac in this state for five minutes.
    • 6 Turn the ignition switch off.
    • 7 Replace the fuse into its slot in the fuse panel. Press in on the fuse until it is fully inserted. Replace the fuse box cover.

Where is the body ecu located

Engine ECU is located in the engine bay, on the driver side(RHD). Body electrical has no ECU (earlier models). Citroen Berlingo uses what is called 'Multifunction Control Modules'. It has 2 of them. One is located in the steering column switch assembly and the other is incorporated inside/underneath the fuse/relay frame in the engine bay. If your Xantia is late model, it may adopt the Berlingo system but I have not seen one that does.

top reasons.

No start codeB2159

This sounds like a memory related issue, check all your fuses first. The ECU will have a memory fuse ( Poss 3 amp). If this has blown, replace it and see if water has entered the ECU location. If it has remove the ECU, allow it to dry out. Make sure you cure the water ingress, refit ECU and it should be ok. As long as the water hasn't been getting in for a long time. Hope this helps...

Trying to locate the ecu . the problum is we got 12 v to the injectors but they are not spraying gas .

check the fuel pressure to injectors to see if pump is working properly. there should be a schraider valve on engine fuel line under hood to test this. the ecu is located on floor directly behind radio. there is a black cover with 2 round plastic snaps that cover ecu. from drivers side, ecu is beside gas pedal. pull on the ecu cover to remove it. are all fuses and fuel pump relay ok !!
