I am not sure on yours , but the newer ones you can replace the pump from the trunk area. You don't have to drop the tank. To access the pump remove the spare tire cover and you will see the pump cover.

Do I need to drop the fuel tank on a 1993 Bonneville to change the pressure fuel line?

the line itself unscrews from the lid that sticks into the tank. you should be able to reach it from up under the car in front of the tank. the line runs all the way up to the engine compartment. you would only need to replace it if it was damaged (crushed or leaking), as it is highly unlikely to be blocked or clogged otherwise.

Cylinder 3 and 6 not firing

If you had a shorted ignition coil, it may have damaged the ignition module.Take a coil pack from another spot, plug it in just be sure your new one is good.if it still won't spark replace the module.I've seen these that won't spark cold but run ok hot.You can try to heat the module with a hair drier to see if you get it to work, but even if it does you still need a module...good luck

Where is fuel sensor located on 1993 pontiac bonniville

If you're looking for the fuel level sensor, then it's part of the fuel pump assemble, which is located inside your gas tank. In order to access it, you have to drop your gas tank, unhook everything attached to it, and you'll see a ring on the top where the lines come out of the tank. You have to turn this to unlock it, and the whole assembly comes out, and you can replace the fuel pump assembly. You'll want to empty as much gas out of it as you can, as it makes it easier to put it back up in the car once you get the pump back in. Once you do this, put everything back like it was when you unhooked it, and put the gas back in it, and you're set.

1993 pontiac bonneville sometimes wont crank and stales out

Check the ignition module. The coils plug directly on to it, it should be silver in color and about 1/4-1/2" thick.

yes gas should be coming out of the fuel line at the motor. if not the pump is bad. you will need to drop the tank to get to it as it is in the tank
