Yes it could be your low beam that is out. Could also be a fuse that is blown I would check the bulb first then the fuse, if neither of those then it is the relay for the high and low beam

Low beam lights dont work

Are you sure bulbs are good? If low beam are running lights as well, might be set in series. If one bulb goes out, no light at all. This was the case for a 2003 toyota camry. Was wired in series.

Lights will not turn on

HEADLIGHTS NOT WORKING

It can be faulty headlight switch or issue with its wiring. Or its faulty head light fuse.

The driver side headlight on my 2001 dodge dakota only works on hi beam what to do?

most likely you need to replace the light bulb, there are two light filament in the bulb one for high beam one for low beam the low beam must be burnt out.

Here is my problem i have a 1993 dodge dakota 2wd and the low beam lights will not light up but the high beams work fine. what could cause it to do that?? THX JEREMY

it could be a short in the wiring, but what i would check first is,you should have only one bulb(per side)and it has 2 filaments in it (high beam and low beam) and i have seen the filament go bad on the high or low beam leaving only one or the other to work.which is easily fixed by replacing the bulbs...( but to make sure before buying both!!just buy one and see if that fixes the problem? if it does than just buy another and change the other side and your done, if it does not fix the problem, than you can return the bulb and get your money back, and it will be a wiring issue....)

Low beam not work !!

replace the headlight bulbs. Usually when the bulbs blow out the low beam blows out first, but the high beams still work. If you want and need both low and high beams to work then replace the headlight bulbs with brand new ones and I garauntee that both low and high beams will work

1992 dodge dakota 3.9 4x4 no low beams and one high beam

Hi the first thing I check on for anyelectrical problem is a bad ground connection. Follow the headlight wires as far as you can, even when they disappear into a larger covered loom at random places, maybe even right next to each light, you will find a wire or several attached to ground, could be a inner fender, engine, etc.. sometimes a inner fender ground is just a selftapping screw, It may be rusted out or just loose. Headlights work through relays that are also located in the fuse boxes. I assume you have checked both fuse boxes, in the truck and under the hood, good luck, Chuck

It could be a dimmer switch. Although make sure both Head light bulbs aren't burnt out. Check for power and ground at the low beam headlight connectors.
