Question about 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
I had the fuel pump replaced and it starts but shakes.
i was told I had sugar in the tank. what do I do.
do I have the system flushed and the fuel filter replaced or ?
Hi, Yes that is exactly what you should do. But I gotta ask, what kind of place would replace the fuel pump, give you the sugar story and not tell you that it needed to be cleaned up or more damage may result? At the very least they should have told you that is what needed to be done when they discovered that sugar was the problem. I would TOW It. Don't run the engine anymore if it still has the fuel with the sugar. Take it someplace else and have them do the work and check that the new fuel pump was OK. Sorry for the news and Best of Luck to you!
