I would not recomend using an air compressor!! This could cause too much pressure on some of the delicate parts in the tranny. All you neeed to do is drain out the old and flush out the rest with new fluid then fill it up if it is a stick,if not a stick then put the plug back in then fill it back up!! PLEASE Rate me!!

You may have a bad shifter solenoid. I believe the solenoids are eather internal in the transmission or may be on one side of the transmission. Not sure what the F150 transmissions have. Take it to a reputable transmission shop and advise them what you have done and see what they suggest, or take it to your dealership and advise them what you have done with it.

Where is the oil cooler located? Does it have a water jacket?


if you are referring to the oil cooler for an automatic transmission, then it will mostly be in the radiator bottom/side tank and uses coolant to cool the oil. They have a habit of cracking/leaking and putting red oil in the radiator or allowing coolant into the transmission. The fix for this is costly flushing of the engine system and transmission and a new radiator. I would consider an air cooled oil cooler as they are more efficient and not prone to coolant problems.. They are generally cheaper than a radiator as the inlet/out let pipes can be blocked off

Compresure of a c is very noisy we have complaint still 22nd aprail and here is no servises


If the compressor is noisy it is probably worn out from the lack of oil which leaks out with the freon and then destroys the compressor. You will have to take it to someone who works on Air Conditioning. It will require replacement of the compressor, flushing out any metal from the compressor, pumping it down with a vacuum pump and recharging with the correct amount of freon.

I have a 2002 honda accord sedan lx. the transmission is not doing right, and i noticed i dont have to push the button to change from drive 4 to drive 3. also i had a transmission flush 2 months ago...


Shifter in my 99 Honda goes from D4 to D3 without pushing button also. I 'NEVER' recommend flushing transmissions, it will always cause problems. I've been rebuilding transmissions for 25 years now, flushing causes all the buit-up contaminates to stop up the filter, which cannor be changed on Hondas. I have to admit though I get 'ALOT' of work since the introduction of flushing machines. Good luck.

if your car over 65000 km done or after last trans service is it have been done over 65000 km from last trans service as a first thing do the trans service with trans mission flush, trans mission flush is very important, it must get done by right place who have the right flushing machine for mercedes trans flushing, it's take 12 Ltr transmission oil + transmission oil filter+ oil pan gasket+ pilot bush, you must ask them to replace all those things this trans service is very important for Mercedes 5 speed automatic transmission, please get genuine Mercedes parts only don't use any aftermarket stuff for this particular transmission, and also need to check transmission control unit, the reason is if you do not trans mission service at right time pilot bush starting to oil leaking, that oil flow through wiring to transmission control unit and it's get wet by oil, if it's get wet by oil it's not functioning properly so can play transmission, other thing is if any thing dose not work for solve your problem you must get it to authorized Mercedes transmission technician to check it can be faulty oil pump or torque converter, I would like to note one more important thin regarding this matter, before do any thing please check transmission oil condition its could be mixed with water, if the oil like milky, it's water in oil, if it's like that you must replace the radiator and trans flush as I note above this is very important for your problem, is this information helped you?

How much compressor oil do I add when changing the ac compressor on a 04 expedition with front and rear ac?


When replacing the compressor the dryer should also be replaced, you put 2oz of oil in compressor and stand compressor on pulley for 5 min, then after install turn clutch 10 turns to pump most oil out of compressor, the dryer should have 2 oz of oil also, if you are flushing the ac system out with a solvent then more oil is needed for the system, if your just replacing the compressor then 2oz in compressor.

the AC system must be flushed out with an approved AC flushing solution, this is avail from any part store, u will need compressed air, then replace the AC accumulator/reciever dryer

How to do a transmission flush for a lexus LS 430 2001


All transmission flushes are done by machines at an auto shop. The process which happens is they drain the tran. fluid out then hook up there machine to run cleaning fluids from the top to the bottom for several minutes flushing out all the impurities and old oil. Then they fill back up with normal transmission fluid and your typically suppose to change out the fluid after a flush in as little as 5k miles. After that your good for a long time!

Engine & Transmission Flush

You might have been told, by your dealer or mechanic that your engine oil or transmission fluid are very dirty, & an engine or transmission flush, is recommended. The flush will clean the engine or transmission, & those will last longer. This is only part true a clean engine or transmission will last longer, but I'm not sure that flushing them is the best way to clean them.


What Is An Engine Or Transmission Flush?

Flushing is forcing high pressure of fluid against the normal flow of the fluid. In simple words if the normal flow is left to right, the flush would force the fluid right to left.

This is done by connecting a machine that will force special solvents back through the engine and transmission. The idea is that by forcing cleaning solvents backwards through the system, it will get all the junk and garbage that has formed over time and "flush" it out of the system. In theory this sounds very good, but in practice, it can be dangerous.


The Dangers of Flushing your Engine or Transmission

Flush machines force high pressure cleaning solvents back through the engine and transmission and clean out some of the accumulated junk that has formed, so far all is good. Now the problems start, engines have small passages and galleries through which oil or automatic transmission fluid flow and there are one-way valves that keep the fluids from backtracking for whatever reason.

By using an aggressive cleaning procedure like flushing, large chunks of accumulated sludge are broken off and forced backwards through these galleries and valves and, more often than not, lodge tightly and block them. This cuts off the normal flow of the fluid and causes lack of lubrication in an engine and abnormal or no shifting in a transmission. The results are expensive repairs, or more often, engine or transmission replacement.
