when flushing radiator on a 1990 lincoln town car do you just drain it and flush with water and refill with coolant? also do you have to let it dry out before refilling?

I would try using a stop-leak additive.  There are may on the market.  The 2 most major branks are Valvoline and Lucas.  I have personally used the Lucas and it worked very well.  I used to loose about 1 quart of power steering fluid every month, now I haven't been seeing any puddles on the ground!!!!!
Any further questions, please ask!!! Please rate!!! Thanks

How to fix AUDI steering oil owerflows from reservoir

Check up the hydraulic power steering pump.
See picture below for 1.6, 1.8 liters Audi (4 cyl.) engines:

If you find leaks and noise when runing, the hydraulic vane type pump is damaged. The pump inputs air inside and mix air with oil resulting foam. Therefore fluid volume inside steering instalation rises. Then pressure overflows oil from the reservoir. You need repair or replace hydraulic vane type steering pump.

I have a 2006 Hummer 3. The power steering gets stiff and hard to turn intermittently. I have the factory recommended tires and have the truck serviced every 4000 miles.

I find it hard to believe that one of the tubes of steering oil could be blocked unless hit, so I would go for the pump. Poor oil pressure, ends up to low oil flow. However check your tubes, from and to the pump, and then, go for the pump. Sorry I can't tell you more.

Seems like the power steering pumpis leaking, I have fluid below the truck and allover the top of the steering g ear box, cannot tellif it is leaking from the pump or the lines, I tried putting in Lucas...

If this is around a 1999 F150, it is the Power Steering line going to the front steering oil cooler. There is a plastic clip which holds the line against the frame. Apparently it is a common problem. The plastic part seems to hold road salt and moisture against the metal and it corrodes.

Change the line out or at least take it off and inspect it.

Ford mondeo 1.8 td diesel, the problem is the power steering fluid is leaking, when i check it look like it was coming from the middle part of the radiator.how can i fix it and what parts do i need to get...

Have a look at the power steering fluid cooler it is just in front of the radiator behind the front bumper. The coolers corrode and leak. Also the seals can go, check for fluid leaking out of the boots at the track rods. Try this procedure :--- 1)Trace the source of the leak. Use a mirror on an extended handle to follow the puddle of fluid on your garage floor to the power steering system. Look on the hoses and gaskets to find from where the fluid could be leaking. 2) Add power steering stop leak additive to your power steering fluid. Lucas Power Steering Stop Additive is 100 percent guaranteed to stop seal leaks. In older cars, the seals shrink, causing leaks. The stop leak makes the seals swell to their original size. 3) Use gasket sealant if the gaskets are old and leaking. Sealant, such as Permatex, is resistant to engine fluids, and will help repair a leaky gasket. 4) Replace the gasket, if the gasket sealant does not work. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

The Power Steering Fluid has leaked out after i started the engine and the resevoir is now completely empty in seconds. I need to drive the car to a repair shop but extremely difficult to turn the wheel....

problem may not be the pump make sure that the power steering lines are not where the fluid is leaking add fluid and observe where the fluid is coming from easier to change out a line than pump and no on bypasing the system

Hi my camry is leaking power steering fluid

Very common problem on this car. Usually it is a combination of 2 items: the pressure hose to the rack & pinion and the power steering pump itself. Since the hose is located above the pump it most likely will look as if the pump is leaking. Suggestion: if the hose is wet, replace it first (it's a 2 piece deal), then thoroughly clean the area including the pump. Run the car for awhile and recheck for leaks. No leaks - you got off cheap. :)
