Dashboard light goes in and out on ford ka whilst driving at night

You mean on and off? Is it random or a constant flash, like a watch or clock? I would try to "clean" the dash light level switch by moving many times from bright level to low level. It may clean the contacts thereby. Otherwise, check connections to that adjustment switch. Or, replace the switch.

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer XL 4.0. There is a noise in my front end when going down the road and yesterday, doing 55 on the highway and off and on since, my 4WDH and 4WDL lights on my dash intermittently...

Hello, Try to have Autozone, Advance, Or Oreillys scan your Explorers onboard computer. Sometimes the intermittent problems will show and sometimes they don't. The scans are free at these 3 companies.

It sounds like corrosion in a connector plug by the Transfer case. Someone will need to go under the vehicle and look at the connectors to the transmission too. You should be driving in 2 wheel on dry roads. Some of the servos were Vacuum operated and if you find a Vacuum hose leading to the Transfer servo, check the servo for a leaking diaphram by using Vacuum.

The Explorers have been around for years and both systems were used. On the electrically activated units, the Selector switch in the dash used different voltages going through a common wire (1 wire). When there was an electric defect, the Selector could not be trusted to represent the correct position of the switch.

Engine light is on, flashes when driving above 100 Km

stop by local parts store (Autozone,Advance, etc) and have them do a free fault code test. They can print out a list of faults and clear the codes

Flashing 4WH and 4WL lights on the dash with switch position on Auto. What does it mean and what is needed to fix the problem? Car dirves fine.

This is purely a guess, but it seems to point towards the four wheel drive High and Low range, (Transmission)

Yellow light on dash has exclamation point in center. ridges at bottom.

That is your low tire pressure warning. One of the tires is low, a TPM may have failed, or the system needs to be reset.

1998 Explorer won't start

is the anti theft light flashing, the little red light on the center of the dash ? if the answer is yes then your key has been erased from the SUV's immobilizer and has to be reprogramed or replaced with another key that is then programmed into the vehicle's immobilizer. As long as that light flashes there is no way to start the vehicle.
