If it is manual climate control.
You have a bad blower motor resistor. To replace it remove the lower dash panel cover below the glove box and it will mount in the heater housing with 2 screws. It will have a 4 wire connector with the wire colors being OG/BK,LG/WH, YE/RD, BK
If it is electronic climate control then you would have to replace the blower speed controller which is also located in the same place.

Dan how do I bleed 2004 Kia coolant car temp is good but sometime at idle heater starts to blow cool hit throttle gets great heat

I agree with your logic. Attached vid addresses bleeding. Sounds like at low rpms, not enough flow to transfer the heat. So bubble or maybe a partially obstructed core. There are a couple of vids on clearing a core... GOod luck, let us know if you figure it out.

94 thunderbird heat or cold air doesnt blow

if you saying the fan wont blow it may need a fan motor not uncommon it might be a speed switch if it has one some time you can hook a wire on the back of the speed switch plug in to get it on high use a 14 gauge wire or bigger a small jumper bent in a loop with the rubber peeled off the ends and shove them in the switch plug find the 12 volt ht wire on the plug with light or vom then try the other wires one at a time til fan runs with ignition switch on

Heat sometimes works in 2003 envoy

First I recommend checking that your coolant level is good. Please check this cold so you don't risk getting burned. I have seen too many heater complaints where the coolant level was simply too low to fill the heater core. Next, you should check if the heater control valve is operating. I don't have any GM experience, but heater valves are often the cause of intermittent heater operation in many cars. Good luck!

Heat stopped working in 2000 pontiac sunfire

With blower on high and tempature to max heat check to see if you have good air flow in all mode selections (defrost, vent, floor etc.). If so and you still have no heat then check heater core hose going from engine to inside car to heater core with vehicle running and coolant tempature about half on guage. If both hoses are hot and coolant in radiator/overflow bottle is full then hot cold blend door is stuck in cold position. If coolant level is low you will get no heat, check coolant level first.

The heater/ac fan on my Toyota Highlander only runs on high. When set at any of the lower settings, it is just 'off'. Is this a problem with the circuit panel that controls the entire heating/ac system?

usually when you loose some fan speeds. it is the heater fan resistor. it has differant size coils for each fan sped. if they fail you loose that fan speed. good-luck !

No heat from heater

sounds like the thermostat is stuck. check this first. easier just to remove it and reinstall without one just to see if you get heat. If still not working then there needs to be a good flushing to be done. just make sure when you do a flush to leave heater controls to hot. if still not working then sounds to be like a bad heater core. you might need a professional flush which uses high pressure to blow out any clogs in heater core. hope this helps.

2001 tahoe front heater not working, rear heater blows warm air

Notorious for plugged heater cores. Also updated plastic restriction couplers mounted at heater core available from dealer. Try back flushing heater core. Run engine till its at operating temperature then carefully hold the inlet and outlet hose breifly with heater fan on high if hoses are nearly the same temp then flow is good , if not then core is plugged.

Heater fan continues to run when heating system turned off.

Your Heater Power control module is bad I just had the same problem you can find it right behind the glove box it is mounted in the heater duct very easy to fix 2 screws and it is out and cost is about 150.00 at the dealer it is a dealer only part.

No heat when set on ''High'' and ''Hot''

circulation of hot hot water to inside cabin to heater core ..and fan blowing strong are all necessary here.....back flush system.. (good cooling system service) including flushing teh heater lines with all heater lines open ...refill and test... or to be sure replace thermostat and any suspect heater hoses at same time....a good shop with infrared gun can trace heat and locate blockage if necessary... good luck
