Re: i can't locate the turn signal flasher
Next step after replacing fuses is to check relays, receptacles themselves and bulbs youll need a multitester with dc volts setting first remove relay and have them checked or check them your self by making sure power is coming out of relay wires once turn signal is active using multi tester at 20 dcv setting if power is coming out relay is good then remove bulb from turn signal housing and test if power is coming into socket same setting if so replace bulbs

Okay, the first thing to check is to turn on the signal on one side and see if the outside signal light comes on. if the light comes on then try replacing the flasher. Also see if your 4way flashers work or if they are also out. if they are out then check your fuse first. If the fuses are good then try the flasher, if the flasher does not solve the problem then you may need to replace the turn signal switch. I have worked on a few of these and most of the time it was a flasher or the turn signal switch. good day.
IF TURN SIGNAL LIGHT DONT WORK SOME TIMES.CHECK FOR BLOWED OR LOOSE FUSE.CHECK TURN SIGNAL BULBS AND CHECK BULB SOCKETS FOR CORROSION.CHECK TURN SIGNAL FOR BAD GROUND.USE JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN GROUND SIDE OF THE TURN SIGNAL BULBS AND A GOOD CHASIS GROUND.IF ALL IS GOOD TURN SIGNAL SWITCH IS BAD OR FLASHERS GOING BAD.TURN SIGNAL FLASHER LOCATED ON CENTER CONSOLE SIDE PANEL GRASP THE FLASHER UNIT AND DETACH IT FROM THE FUSE BOX.IF YOU HAVE EARLY MODEL VECHICLE FLASHER UNIT LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE FUSE BLOCK.
If you can locate the hazrd flasher unit under the dash on the drivers side, the turn flasher unit should be right beside it and looks the same. Unplug and switch the 2 flashers and see if the turn signals work. The flasher unit is a silver and round. they are usually close to the stering colum. Let me know if that helps.

Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse/relay. Also look at the turn signal flasher and the four way flasher located in fuse/relay panel for problem. If the fuses are good replace the flashers to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.
OK if the fuses are good , use a test light and check to be sure you have power at the fuse terminals. you'll check from ground to the terminal on top of the fuse. you should have 12vdc. then , check for power at your brake light switch on both terminals while the brake pedal is pressed, it is located located on the brake pedal assembly. also , check your hazard flasher switch to be sure it is not on. if it was on, check your flashers, both the turn signal and hazard flasher. If everything checks out , your problem is probably in your turn signal switch assembly located in your steering column.
When you select left or right do any of the bulbs come on? If you select left check front and back left side if one of the bulbs did not come on the flasher will not work. Change the bulb that is out. Same with the right. If the fuse for the turn signal is good (check fuse or replace do not use visual, some appear to be good but are not).
The emergency flasher is different from the turn signal flasher. Look at manual for location of turn signal flasher. If you manually lift and lower turn signal control you may hear a clicking under the dash to locate the flasher.
