Question about 2004 Audi S4
Bizarre!! whenever I select a different frequency (AM or FM) from the one I'm listening to, the radio goes silent. The lights are still on, the frequency still shows on the screen the volume bar goes up and down but absolutely no volume. If I turn off the radio and turn it on agan, no change, still dead, but if I pull over, turn off the ignition and restart, everything reurns to normal!!
Any ideas anyone?

You can fix it yourself. The stealership wants 1500 for diagnostics and replacement. The harness is about $200 at VW. The cabs have a design defect that Audi will not acknowledge nor repair. Here is how you fix it yourself. You need to open the trunk and look at the rubber wire protector on the left side between the trunk and the lid. See picture posted. You don't have to remove any liners. Pull the rubber out of the top and very gently pull it down as far as you can exposing the antenna wires. Remove the black soft wrap
