If this is a gas engine, check the ignition coil or plug wires. A simple test...

Start the truck at night, then look under the hood while it's running. Don't use a flashlight or your headlights; it should be dark !

If you see sparks anywhere around the engine, you've found the problem. Now you can turn on a light to see where they're coming from - probably from a cracked ignition coil.

Good luck !

1995 gmc sierra bogging when wet

Check your coil for cracks or signs of corrosion. If you instead have a distributor cap, do the same. If it all looks okay, start the vehicle and pop the hood. Get a water bottle or something to spray water with and start getting the wires and coil and distributor wet until the truck stalls. Make sure to do it slowly so you can tell what part you soaked that caused the truck to stall.

99 yukon cuts out on the highway when accelerating but continues to run. replaced fuel pump and problem dramaticaly improved but still occures

Did you also replace the fuel filter when you replaced the fuel pump? A partially clogged filter will make the engine 'bog down' and lose power under heavy acceleration.

The solonoid clicks just fine, but the starter flywheel doens't

is it auto? if not drop it into 2nd release hand/park brake and rock the vehicle back and forth this essencialy does the same . if auto look for where the solonoid is attatched somewhere underneath theres a large (flush) grub screw. tap with light hammer just between solonoid attatchment and screw if problem persists have the starter bench tested! hope this helps AK
