The cheapest, fastest and easier way to replace the mirror would be getting one from a local junk yard. Try to see how it is removed so you can DIY later. Your other option is the dealer which will be very pricey.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!
It's not that hard to replace the passenger side mirror. You will be able to do it yourself. I will tell you how. Remove the screw holding the molding to the base of the mirror and remove the molding. Remove the screws and detach the mirror. (if it is electric mirror just unplug the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse of removal. Hope this will help you.
You can usually just replace the mirror, any commercial auto-glass store has the glass you need. sometimes it is necessary to replace the mirror and its backing (a plastic frame which snaps into the adjustable motor) you don't need to replace the whole mirror unless the housing is broken.
You need to take the inside mirror cover off 3 bolts unbolt and repalce you may have to take the trim panel off for the plug in but or you may be able to just unsap and puyt th new one on. Need anything else or a used parts go to www,collisionrepairadvice.com
the Glass element or the glass and backing assembly? if just the glass it is just glued on, Scotch two sided tape works as well, if the Glass and backing fixture it just snaps in and out of the drive motors.
if you look at the panel inside of the mirror you will either find a screw that hold it in place or it snaps in. should be screws. once you remove the panel you will see three bolt screws remove those and if power mirror disconnect the connector. reattach is reverse. make sure it seals tight or it may leak air /water. if not tight seal use a small amount of clear sealer.
sorry i don't have a photo to help you.
you have to buy the whole mirror because they are specially made to have better view, and some times there is a little plastic molding inside that snap out to remove the bolts, but some times you have to remove the whole door panel in order to do it.
