Pats system is not seeing your key.Look at the end of the key and make sure chip did not fall out. Do you have another key? The only problem with this is to program a key yourself you must have 2 working or programed keys. If you don't then you have to have a scan tool that will perform security access to program another key. The dealer can of course do this and now some locksmiths have this technology also.

If it is an automatic shift you should have a neutral safety switch between the key switch and the starter. I would check that and for power at the starter when it fails to crank. If it is a manual shift there is a switch on the clutch pedal or linkage. It may be tough to find until you can duplicate the problem on demand. Could also be a dead spot in the starter or solenoid.
Hazards work only when lights are off. Left signal light stays lit on the dash and does not blink and is stuck on (lit up) when lights are lit. If I place hazards on while lights are on only right side flashes and whole dash lights flash too... I replaced the flasher relay and it still does not work. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!
Yes - the fast flashing is a warning that a bulb is burned out. Change the bulb (be careful to put it in the same as the old one as it probably is 2 bulbs in one , parking and turn/stop) and you should be fine.
The theft light flashing indicates there was a problem detected with the anti theft system. The computer will have to be scan tested and either repaired or reprogrammed. This is a very complicated procedure and requires specialized equipment. You will probably have to have it towed to the dealer or a very well equiped private repair facility. You might want to try leaving the key on for about an hour or try another key but this rarely works. Good Luck.
