Question about 2000 Saturn SL
I was going to replace the pcv valve on my girlfriends car, but when i got the new one it didnt match the one i pulled out, after i pulled it out there was a rubber garment, if this wasnt there is would fit most likly, so should i remove it? i have no idea.. the others that i have replaced were easy!
i hope someone knows what im talking about!
Be careful about the PCV valve. If it's the wrong part, it can cause drivability issues. The grommet is important. It seals the valve to the crankcase vapors. Otherwise they leak out nullifing the purpose of the system. Also check on the other side of the valve that the hose back to intake manifold is not clogged or cracked.
