How do I change the headlight in my 1998 Buick Park Avenue?

Please tell me hoe I chaneg the headlight, it is blown.

Open the hood and look behind the headlight lens housing. There should be a place on the back of it with a socket and wires. Grab the socket and rotate it CCW about a 1/4 turn. The socket should be able to be pulled out. The lamp can be pulled off and replaced at that point. These light assemblies do vary a bit so you may encounter some slight differences.

What do you check if high beam lights do not come on buick park avenue 1998


you may find that your high & low beam lights might have different fuses,you need to check the fuse box under the hood to see if there are any blown fuses......hope this helps.....cheers

It is located in the fuse box inside car. However, many GM vehicles share fuses with multiple devices. The radio fuse may also operate the cigarette lighter, and so on. My 1991 LeSabre shared fuses. Check fuses to see if any are blown.

you do not need to remove the lens assembly , only the bulb is replaced, you may need to loosen the battery if its in the way. if i remember correctly there is a black ring just a quarter turn then bulb pulls out. if no ring its just a quarter turn with the bulb and it out
