Gauges stop working,transmission lights are all lit up.

Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? If it is and the horn isn't working , probably because of a bad clock spring . Do you know what that is ?

Pull the air bag module , don't recommend you do that ! Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? Horn not working an air bag light lit would indicate clock spring problem . Do you know what the clock spring is ?

What kind of car ? year , make , model etc..... Checking the electrical circuit , fuse , horn relay , switch on the steering wheel would be the way to start your diagnoses . Do you know what a relay is . Any lights lit on the insturment cluster ? AIR BAG !

Does it light up ? When you turn the key on do the warning lights come on ? Check engine , oil , abs , air bag etc... just gauges not working ? Does the vehicle start an run ? Check your fuses first, then a vacuum leek second. To reset the air bag light unplug the battery for 30 seconds then reconnect. If the light comes back on take it to a garage as the air bag can be very dangerous.

Well the air bag light would not have anything to do with the engine. The warning light for the gauges would come on if the gauges needed attention. And that would happen if the engine died.
When you turn the key on, does the gas gauge register ?
Do you have spark and fuel pressure when you crank the engine ?

Please clarify for me! Are you saying all the guage lights come on? And are you for sure it is not the brake light coming on?

And have you checked your fluids, oil, brake etc,.

The only reason I ask is that, I have guages light up also, but usually it is either the brake light or the air-bag light and mostly as you stated, when I'm coming to a stop or braking or even driving under 40 mph! Never when I'm on the Interstate.

I have air in my brake lines causing the brake light to come on, which I need bled bad, the air-bag is a fluke, I don't even like them, let alone trust them! I'm still driving though!

I would say, it's okay to drive, no more than you are driving it, but...

If your check engine light comes on & off, most likely you are getting low on some kind of fluid or something needs to be fixed?

When you have a chance go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone and ask them to test your car for a faulty sensor or switch...they do it for FREE! They hook a diagnostic machine up to your car, doesn't take too long a few minutes maybe, it will tell exactly what is wrong.

Air bag light lit ? Have checked for DTC'S -diagnostic trouble code's ! on top of the steering column an under the steering wheel is a part called clock spring . This colck spring allows the steering wheel to be turn full right to full left to keep electrical connection between the air bag module an the buttons on the steering wheel . Problem with the clock spring ,maybe .

Fuel gauge, is fuel sending unit or gauge itself.
Air bag could be a faulty clock spring, bad bag, bad module, or something else. Air conditioner I would need to know what is not working right to elaborate on that.

Saw this in many Buicks while working valet 7+ years, has to be some kind of recall. I suggest calling a dealer
