My husband change out the starter and solenoid on my sons bronco II and this is the third time it burnt the wire from the starter to the solenoid, i am looking for the right diagram for this problem, any suggestions.
Not sure what you are saying the problem is.
You have a red wire on the solenoid that goes to the battery and a 50amp fuse. The red and lite blue wire comes from the key switch.
Then you have a black wire that goes from the solenoid down to the starter to energize it. You have a large red wire on the starter coming from the battery to power it.

Here's the diagram for the fuse panel under the dash. There is also a fuse panel under the hood next to the air filter.

this is the wiring of the basic starter motor , it may have small diffences but the logic is there...
hope this one helps.... :)

as you can see all wires go with the loop on them go to the side nearest to the firewall, plug one on top and starter wire goes to the one closest to the battery.
