Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I have a 99 Chevy Silverado Z71. There was a small "catch" when I turned off ignition and pulled key out. Later, placed key in ignition, would not turn. Key goes in and out just fine, simply cannot turn, not even to acc. Wheels were not turned when truck was parked, and I have tried the simple trick of turning steering wheel while trying to turn key. I have taken front and bottom off so that it is exposed. Cannot locate trouble simply by looking, am thinking perhaps a tumbler(s) broke off. Any ideas on problem, or tricks of prying cylinder/holder off?
Call a locksmith out he can remove the ignition and replace it for about 60.00
