Question about 1992 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
I own a 1992 S10 blazer. in the cold mornings when i start the blazer it takes about 5 minutes to start. in the evening when i get off work it does the same thing.
when it finally starts in the morning and i get to work, i can turn the blazer off and it will start immediately (after it warms up). In the morning and evenings when i go to start the blazer, i can try to start it pause, turn the ignition off and the fuel pump will continue to run for approx 5-7 seconds.
i do hear the fuel pump running before i start the blazer. but its just tough to get started.
any help would be appreciated.
First thing to do is chg. fuel filter, than if that don't help, do a fuel pressure chk. pump might be getting weak. if all that chks. out ok it could be fuel regulator, but most likely its either the filter or pump.
