Question about 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
I have to shift the car manually. If you don't pull it down to first, rather than just getting drive and going, it doesn't start to move. When I pull it to first it kinda slips then clunks and takes off like normal. Then I continue to shift manually. If you leave the shifter in drive and start to slow to stop, it won't down shift and when you hit the gas there's nothing followed by a clunk and then it goes. If anyone has any idea please let me know. I have been driving it like this for 2 years now so I hate to think it is actually the clutches or anything.
I;m not trying to be smart here, but if you been driving it this way for 2 years why do you want to know whats wrong with it now, i think that would have been something you would have been checking out when it first showed up 2 years ago. Just drive it the way it is chanses are it not going to get any worse at least before its life span is over.
