Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
This is in regards to a 1998 mercury mystique v6. I need to know if i am having a possible charging problem.
My question is this>>>I can have my heater on full blast, with my stereo playing, with my high beams on,my bliker on and my rear defrost on.All at the same time without any problems. I can come out in the dead of winter in bone chilling temperatures and the car will start right up first try.I have a new battery and everything appears to be okay. If i apply my brakes in a regular way there is no problem. However if i am in a situation where i have to slam on my brakes suddenly i notice that my dash lights and headlights go dim and if my heater is on at the same time also it will stop blowing. Once i let off the brakes my dash and headlights get bright again and my heater kicks in again.
This only happens if i have to apply the brakes very hard.Other than that everything is working fine. Is this normal for these cars??? If not does anyone know what the problem is???
Find the ground block under the dash when you put on the brakes hard the bracket that holds the pedal in is moving you are getting a bad ground a that point
