Question about 1997 Buick Skylark
I was walking up on my car from behind and I noticed my brake lights were on and the car wasn't even on let alone the brake pedal being pushed in. I tried starting the car and driving around a little bit, took the fuse out and inspected it, looked all over the brake pedal. nothing looked wrong. when I press the brakes down and let go, the lights don't do anything but stay on. I disconnected the battery and then reconnected it, and still nothing. they wont turn off even when the car is turned off. There's no way to tell if I'm stepping on the brakes, it looks like I'm riding the brakes the whole time.
Look up under feet area brake peddal has a switch hooked to brake peddal could be bad switch or something catching it! good place to start!
