I have very little heat .blower motor seems to be working. thermastat is o.k [ top engine hose is hot].had new heater core put in a year ago.

You might have air in the coolant. Try bleeding it out and see if it changes. Make sure your heater control is on when you bleed the air.

Have replaced my thermastat in 99 cav. 2 cyl. 3 x's, thermostat's are good they opened in boiling hot water, but when I put them in car they dont open up and car overheats very quickly, I have been driving...

Make sure that the gasket is put in right. If put in wrong, it can keep the thermostat from opening. Also make sure that you put the thermostat in the right. The sensor coil or slug goes toward the engine. The thermostat should be stamped showing the proper direction. I would go ahead and buy a new one just to be sure. They are cheap.

I dont have any heat. i put in a new thermastat.antifreeze is good. it just blows cool air

One or more of:

1. Your coolant level is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be changed
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged
