Stop by your local autozone and have them scan the codes (it's free) either post the codes here or the lads and lasses there are pretty good and may be able to tell you what they mean

You need to take the car to an auto store that will scan the codes fro you.

Reply back here what the codes are and their description, and we can help you further.

Or, just take the car to the repair shop if you are not comfortable making repairs.

We were driving along at 60 kph when we heard a popping sound. We pulled over and found that a hose from the inter cooler had come off. We called the RAA and they put it back on in seconds. Five minutes...

the popping noise is an engine backfire and that is what blew the intake hose off, the only thing that can cause the check engine light to flash is an engine misfire, it is not a good idea to drive it until you have it checked out.

Last night my sebring stalled out of nowhere and then the check engine light along with the oil pressure light appeared. There was no unusual knocking sounds or anything. I keep the oil changed and up to...

Get it scanned for the check engine light, (mil light), as for the oil light, thats normal due to engine not running and making no oil pressure. was this a sudden stall, with no engine surging, then I suppect a failed cam or crank sensor. if it kind of stalled with engine surge and hesatation, I suspect fuel related, possible fuel pump. 2.4L, 2.7L engine have same sensor issues and ideas. if you need more info, just reply back with the mil code, I will walk you through this problem.
GOOD LUCK, RDJRP.

Dodge Neon 98 Engine Oil Pressure

you might try and change the pcv valve, my car hand a similar problem in the summer and i never changed it. the pressure blew my cam seal and i was leaking oil like crazy. i dont know if it will fix it but they are cheap. i would give it a try.
