My mustang has a new battery,the alternator is good,the starter is good and my car still will not start,even with a new battery.all i can think the problem is .an electrical one. what else could it be.

Inertia switch,behind rear panel/next to taillight,hatch stricker/latch.Fuel pump relay underneath the drivers seat.

you need to replace the mass airflow sensor it is defective for that year should be cheap but most likely will need to be ordered

MY 89 Ford Mustang GT did not pass smog because then Check Engine light DOES NOT light up. Would that be a fuse or bulb?

The light is controlled directly by the computer so if your car runs, it isn't a fuse. It just needs a bulb put in it.

hit it hard (with the side of your hand or palm) at the bottom of the seat on the right and the left to relase the spring retainers, run a putty kniofe under the seat edge to locate the spring retainers

89 ford mustang v-6 is the c-clamp going to seat the caliper?

yes it will, just turn in slowly it will set piston bck in,not much force needed if it is hard to seat piston back in caliper you may have a bad hose or caliper, the way to find this out is open bleeder and if its easier to colapse the piston then its a hose if it doesnt make a diffrence then its a bad caliper, but this is only if you have a problem the c clamp will do the job, hope this is helpful.

89 mustang runs good under 3500rpm over that it pops and sputters

if you're trying to hold the idle over 3500 , you're going to hit the Rev Limiter, Einstein. Racing cars will lead you to no good , son. If I'm wrong or missunderstanding you please clarify.

Just bought a new fuel pump for 89 mustang 2.3 and it is rated at only 3 PSI. Will this work or do I need more PSI ??

The proper fuel pressure should be 55psi.So i know 3psi will not work:)

if the nuetral safety was a problem the car would not start at all, sounds like you have a defective engine wiring harness, this is the most common cause of this i have seen while working for Ford.

your gas to air ratio is off. Too much gas not enough air,flooding,check if the gaskets are tight for the fuel area.

Blower Motor for 89 Mustang

i've replaced three heater cores on a mustang, the only way to get to them is to remove the dashboard i believe the only way to get to the blower motor is the same way, located behind the glove compartment.
