Question about 1989 Chevrolet K1500
My Husband is trying to figure out where the problem lies with the 4x4 in his 4x4 1989 Chevy Pick-up..when he engages the 4x4 it blowes the 30amp fuse. Any idea where to look for the problem?
I would replace the 4 x 4 actuating switch located top rear of transfer case. The switch has a 2 wire harness hooked to it. The same thing happened to mine. Cost me $80.00 and 30 minutes.
