My tranny began leeming like it was slipping when the weather turned cold it works great in all gears except when it shifts into overdrive and i accellerate a little the rpms go up at a rapid rate. only when it is cold i used this truck all summer to pull horses and i pull in overdrive on flat lands never had a bit of trouble now that it is cold i can't drive it without a trailer or it slips. any answers???

I don't know the last time you had the trans. serviced but if your pulling alot of weight especialy in hot weather you should have it done alot more than normal, I would try that first, if that don't help, your looking at a rebuild or replacement, and if it does not have one an external oil cooler is a good idea too.

well I guess I will say change the fluid again and change the filter- you simply do not have enough miles to be transmission failure- so my guess wil be the shift solenoid as well - contact dealer to confirm.They will have to change with solenoid anyway.I sold my last honda with 275,000 miles and it had a hard life- no issues ever
