Ok on most cars and trucks its under dash around the heater blower motor, most likely on top of heater box it looks like a piece of thin cardbord shaped like an egg, the bottom half of it sets inside of heater box, and the cardboard part sets on top with 2 screws to hold it in. It will have an electrical plug to it with 4 or 5 wires. It might be hidden behind a couple of relays i'am not sure, but if its got one thats where it will be. I can't tell you what has to be removed to get to it but depending on its location it may just be as simple as taking off glove box door. Hope this helps Good luck. OLD SCHOOL.

It is part of your blower motor, which will have to be removed, to replace the resistor. Basically its attached to your blower motor & your connection goes in to it.

Can't locate the blower motor resistor

Here's a link to what your blower motor resistor look's like,it's next to the blower motor,2 screws hold it on.Blower Motor location can change from year to year. It can change with the trim level of the vehicle. A vehicle that has front and rear climate controls may be configured differently than a vehicle that has front controls only. The following are two different repair procedures. One is given because the blower motor is located and accessed in the engine compartment, the other is given because the blower motor is mounted inside the vehicle. http://www.autozone.com/cooling-heating-and-climate-control/blower-motor-resistor/duralast-blower-motor-resistor/cadillac/deville/1990/8-cylinders-3-4-5l-fi/860043_0_0 Here's a link to your blower motor. 92 cadillac deville no heat or air blowing at all

Devilles use a controller instead of a basic blower resistor.
Someone would need to check the blower motor for power and ground, then check the controller mounted in the HVAC box on the firewall.
You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams needed to troubleshoot the system.

I need to chang the o2 sensor on my 1996 cadillac sts it is bank 2 sensor 1 that is going bad er failed i guess i dont know and i dont know where to look for the sensor either i herd its on the left front...

I have the same deal on my 96 sts, its weak...its very common on GM's. You can barely see it but if you look behind ur motor, down the firewall next to the blower motor, there will be like a 1 inch gap that u can see it thru. It is a real pain to get at as u will be able to tell when u finally locate it, since it hasn't affected how my car runs, i'm not changing it. Its $230 to have the dealer change it, and possibly, may be worth every penny to have them do it lol!!!

I have a 1992 Cadillac Deville. The heat, and the air both turn on because I can hear it turning on. However, the blower doesn't come on. I pulled the blower out, and tested it with a 12 volt battery,...

trace the wire from the blower back, it will meet at a harness connector, that is the resistor, you can check continuity on the leads, from there you trace back to the switch

Ive changed tons of resistors on this vehicle. If your vehicle blower works on high speed and not on the low ones these resistors go bad all the time. I dont have the information you are looking for but what i am saying is if you are having a problem with it and dont know if it is bad -chances are 95% it is. just get a new one

Under the dash... in the duct work for the vents... you will see a coonector that goes to the side of the duct work... and a part held on by two or three screws... that is the resister block... remove it and replace it
