Hi

You are not going to have much luck getting into the car this way.

Your best bet is to cut a coat hanger wire, and make a little hook on the end, and slide it between the door rubber seal and try pulling up on the lock button, or hooking the lever.

Good Luck !

1993 Toyota Celica trunk will not open. The lock is stuck in a middle position. Can I go through the back seats to fix the problem?

YES.
Crawl into the back and remove all of the screws that hold the back plastic panel on.

the back seat is removed by pulling up the rear seat front cushion.
Then you get access to the seat back.
There are 2 12 mm bolts that hold the seat back AND the side arm rest.Lower arm rest bolts are at the bottom. 12 mm.
Tie the seat belts back.
The seat back bolts are at the bottom. 12 mm.

B-4 you try that ordeal......
Use lock eaze on the lock cylinder.
Graphite spray can.

Try pulling the trunk key back out.
maybe a slide hammer..
Put down pressure on the trunk lid, first.
Have a friend sit on it...

WD-40: last resort.

Work the key in the cylinder after you dowse the key hole with that crap/chemical.
If the key brakes off, into the trunk you go.

Locked my keys in boot and no spare key.its a audi a3 2006 2 door

You can remove the back seat and access the trunk from car inside. The rear seat is split 60/40 and folds down for carrying even more stuff. Push the backrest upper lateral button and fold down the rear seat backrest. Then go into the trunk and take out your set of keys.

My son just received a 1995 Ford Taurus GL, the trunk release lever by driver side seat is locked, we do not have a key and now cannot open the trunk. Any suggestions?

I don't know about your 1995 Ford Taurus, BUT I found that when the rear driver side seat was loosened, there were several cables running alongside the driverside rear (underneath the seat and connecting bolt). Pull gently on the cables...you will find one of them is the trunk release cable(which pops oopen the trunk). And lo....there were my keys inside the trunk. Took 5 minutes to take apart and put together. Good Luck.

If the seat has a lever to allow entry to rear seat the fnt seat back and seat roll foward[2 door jeep]. Move the seat back back to normal and push loose seat all the way foward and then all the way back.let me know if that helps

Keys are locked in truck. How do we remove rear seat

I'm going out on a limb here ... is there no remote control access on your key fob? no switch in the glove box ... no opener on the driver side door?

Remove the seat by first pushing the bottom front of the bench part to the rear of the car to unhook the latches, lift it up ... remove the bench. You will then find two bolts ... one on each side of the seat back ... remove them and the seat back should come out ...

My trunk lock and release is no longer working in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Although I can turn the key left and right as per owner's manual, trunk will not "pop open". Back seat release is in trunk; removed...

In my '04 corolla I can unlatch the left passenger seat back by reaching behind the left seat back and sticking my finger up into the second of 3 quarter sized holes. my arm is about 15" stuck in and reaching up into the trunk about 6" back. Feel around for the holes. You can pull the latch at that point, but...you have to be flexible.

1997 lincoln town car..pas. seat goes foward but wont go bakwards...any help

Try pushing back as you work the switch forward and backward. The most likely problem is a stuck runner. Remove the two front bolts and the two rear nuts from the seat legs and tilt the seat backwards to clean and lubricate the runners

I have lost the key which is the only one which opens the bonnet on my 52 ford mondeo

Take it to a lock smith and he can make a new key otherwise remove the back seat climb in and remove the c clip holding the lock on and remove the screw from the lock and pull out and take to the lock smith to get a new key made. To remove the rear seat pull the carpet away from the lower front of the carpet find two bolts one on each side and remove pull up on the seat and remove seat next find bolts to back of seat and remove lift up on the rear seat and pull out and away from the trunk then crawl inside to remove the lock,

Unlocking Boot lid

I am assuming your problem is similar to mine; the key fob isn't dead, but for some reason the boot won't release.  This happens rarely, but can be very frustrating (and embarrassing)!

When neither the key fob nor the release on the boot work, lock and unlock the car, and insert the key into the ignition.  Turn the key to the second stage, i.e. the accessories are powered, and then remove the key.  This ought to allow you to use the fob again.
