1999 Pathfinder battery went dead and now I have no electric
The battery in my pathfinder died overnight, I don't know why. Tried to jumpstart it and it would not turn over. Just dead and this clicking in the dash wear the security light is. Went out and got a new battery and the car still won't start. Now I don't have any electric to any of the vechicle and nothing works on the truck. Owner's manual is no help.

There could be several concerns.
The fuel pump is weak and cutting out.
The ignition coils are getting hot and cutting off. The torque convetor in the transmission could be staying in lock up mode, This will cause the vehicle to die out , there is to much torque on the engine when at idle, causing the engine to die out.
The exhaust system could be clogged.
I would try and get the vehicle to a mechanic or dealer to check out .
An easy check is to spray an easy start into the air filter and, if it starts then dies, then fuel is the problem( since you switched the filter, then pump is next) If it doesn't start or even try, then an electrical fault(plugs, or plug leads cap etc).
Check tightness of the clamps on battery & make sure the earth cable is tight from battery to engine, also check tightness of nut holding the cable 2 starter motor if all ok there its most probably the solenoid on top of starter motor replace this with new all will b ok.
