I checked that fuse and even put in another one from the spares. I will check it again tomorrow.

I talked with some mechanics today and thye suggested I check the headlight switch conected to the steering column and also check the dash dimmer wheel located on the dash to see if it is causing the issue as it is connected directly in circuit with the dash light.

It is the switch on the steering column. I took it off to check it and jumpered the light switch and it works. New switch coming on Tuesday. Thanks for the help.

My 94 Pickup truck is giving me the same problem. I have changed the dimmer switch on the dash board and it still doesn't work. All the fuses are good but the only thing i haven't checked out is the switch on the steering coloum. Can anyone please tell me if its the Steering coloum switch and if it is about how much do you think it is

Check the fuses again- the fuse that runs the tail lamps also runs the instrument lights.

My brake lights work but my tail lights and reverse lights don't work. Also my dash lights quit when I changed the switch for my headlights.

Check your fuses. I had the same problem with a 90 Honda civic. Dash lights went out, tail lights also went out. Replaced 1 fuse and all came back on.

Tail lights and dash lights don't work

You should check all the bulbs and your wiring circuit for fuses outside the fuse box, such as in line fuses.

Turn signal dosent work

you need to check to see which bulbs don`t work both front and back lights for the signal on the side it`s not working, you don`t say if any signals work or not if no signals work then you need to check the fuses under the dash on the driver`s side.now if it`s just one side then check the lights as mentioned above.if one isn`t then replace the bulb.if neither bulb is working then it sounds like the signal flasher is not working.turn on the hazard flashers and check the lights front and back.if all bulbs work then leave the hazards on and look under the dash for the flasher that is making the noise, this will show what the signal flasher will look like, then find the signal flasher on the fuse panel under the dash it should be located on the fuse panel.and replace

I have a 1995 Nissan Altima GXE that has an issue with the back lights. Only 2 of the bulbs on the left side work, none on the right. The 2 on the left go on when I turn on the running lights. ...

there's also a unit called the electronic flash unit / module that controls your signal lights and it can affect your brake lights... this unit is not tied into your hazards so one will work without the other.. unfortunately, I don not know where this particular unit would be on your car...

Headlights don twork

the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further
