Question about 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe
Battery is not charging replaced alernator still wont charge ,checked fuses and batt conn all is good batt is now dead help?
Check voltmeter if equiped if not use any know good volt or multi meter & check for 13 to 14.5 volts with vehicle running. If in spec.Try a current or amp. draw test spec. should be around 300 milliamps, with ignition key out , & all assessories off if more check to see if any assessories are left on with key out of ignition [dome lites , glove box lites.assessory chargers plugged into cig outlets ect...] this will drain battery.I had a problem with a tahoe awhile back draining the battery. I traced the current draw to the factory radio on / off switch was sticking & making slight contact to complete circuit enough to draw more than 700 milliamps & draining the battery.Sprayed some contact cleaner into switch ,behind knob & turned back & forth while pushing in & out.It corrected the batery drain.Hope this can help.

What happen was something is draining your battery its hard to find those kinna case cause you dont have any idea where it come from what i suggest are get a wiring diagram it would be easier but if you cant pull one just check all your wirings i am guessing that something is touching on your ground, short to ground is hard to find coz youll need to check everything and also you need some knowledge on electrical but youll figure out...
