Question about 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty Super Cab
The truck hasn't been started since Christmas and now when trying to start, nothing is happening. I forgot to plug it in at night and have been for the past week, but it still isn't happening. I'm not sure if the battery is dead or if there is something else I should check. The check engine light is now coming on. Any advice would be appreciated.
After you cure the battery issue and cranks over well but still no start, get vehical into a warm garage if at all possable, change fuel filter(s) and if there is any sign of gell up, as jeremythious said, get some good diesel fuel treatment, add recomended amount to tanks and if possable, fill filters/ filter housings with 1/2 treatment & 1/2 diesel and try to start.Have had some success with propane torch heating (carefully!) the lines and/or filter housings. Be sure glow plug/intake manifold heaters are working good ( not sure which engine is in it ?).Hope this helps. Please rate me.

Summer fuel should bo good to about 10 below, so thats probably not an issue, if it is there are additives available at your corner parts store, just follow the directions on the lable. But i'm confident that a new or fully charged battery will get you going. Remember that if your battery froze, it's probably no good.
