I must be blind.....can't find it.Is it in a separate box? The fuse panel is on the driver side panel. I assumed it would be in there but not. I'll keep looking under the dash.

    Thanks!

To turn them on,It is a button on the steering column.
The flasher relay,is in the fuse box, located under the dash on the driver side.

It's black and looks like a small square box (should have # 47600060 on it).

If not in the fuse box,Look here.

If you are looking under the dash on the driver side,The

Box will be clipped on the the edge of the dash plastic near the steering column.

If it works at all you can turn the blinker on and listen for the clicking sound to help locate it.

the flasher is under the dash on the drivers side. if you turn on the hazard lights and look under the dash you will see what turn signal flasher looks like and know which flasher not to change thinking its the right one. look for the signal flasher and change it.

The rear turn signal lights are not working in my 1999 Dodge Intrepid. The front ones work but blink fast. We changed the bulbs with new bulbs and that didn't fix the problem.

You need to change the flasher unit. Usually a silver squat cylinder with a 3 prong connection.
Consult your owners manual for the location of the flasher module. It is likely under the dash maybe clipped the the body / frame work there. Note that here are usually 2 of these. one for the signals and one for the hazard flashers. They are interchangable. These are only a few dollars at any auto parts store.

Signal/Hazard lights won't work

Most common cause is the Flasher Unit. It's a plug in module usually located under the dash attached to the fuse panel (may need to unscrew a wingnut to drop down fuse panel). Other cause could be burned out bulb but if you are not getting left or right directionals, it's much more likely that it's the Flasher Unit.

Need to locate signal light flasher 2001 dodge intrepid

If you mean the flasher, which makes the turn signals and hazards to blink, then...

It's a combo flasher which operates both the turn signals and the hazard lights. To access the combo flasher with ease remove the drivers knee bolster and then remove the brake release cable end from the handles notch, then disconnect the harness from the trunk release switch. Next there will be a reinforcement panel, remove that as well. Finally locate and replace the combo flasher from behind this panel. It is a black box that has a harness connected to it with a pink wire, a black and yellow wire, a red wire, a dark blue and pink wire, and finally a black wire. To help locate the flasher either turn the turn signal on or apply the hazards and listen for its location.
