The bulbs have all been checked out, they are fine. my left and right turn signals work just fine, but my reverse lights no longer come on. how can I fix this??
Re: 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Reverse Lights do not work...
If this is an Auto trans, on the left side of the tranny just above the
tranny pan is a switch. This is the reverse light switch, replace it.
The switch screws into the side and has a 3 wire connector to it.

If they are two different bulbs, I would look for a ground wire problem. If the two lights are the same bulb, could be a socket or turn signal switch problem.
If you have any extra fuses, try replacing the ones for the head lights and tail lights. Make sure the fuses you replace are the same color as the ones you replace them with, that way the voltages are the same. Another issue is that a flasher could be going out.
The most likely problem is two burned out light bulbs. A burned out tail/stop lamp on the right side and a burned out brake lamp on the left. If you have already replaced the bulbs, then yes, the circuit boards are the next most likely cause of the problem.
Replace turn signal switch on colum probubly emergrncy and turn combo check your back up switch on man transmission. if auto transmission check selector switch on linkage.
I have taken my car to many shops to solve this problem. Long story short your tail light has a bad circut and entire lamp must be replaced. (Lamp cost approximate $130.00)
