Code 102 means the MAF sensor is telling the computer there is very little air flow into the intake. Normally the airflow is lower at idle than when you are accelerating, but the sensor reading is lower than spec.
You could have a leaking hose between the MAF and the throttle body, or a vac leak somewhere else, the sensor could be faulty, or you could have a problem with the wiring harness.
All of these possible causes would apply to the replacement sensor that did not work.
SOURCE: check egine light code p0102 map/maf is currently on and the car is running fine.
At this point you need to test the signal from the MAP to the PCM (powertrain control module), it should vary between about 1 and 4 volts as you throttle the engine up and down quickly, if little or no change then the heated wire in the MAF is burned out and th sensor will have to be replaced, in that case, they sell rebuilt units at a very reasonable cost, try rockauto.com, best prices around period.
SOURCE: check engine light comes on intermittently,
the 1st thing u need to do is have the system computer tested for trouble codes, anytime the light comes on a trouble code is stored, there are over 200 of these codes for potential system malfunctions, yours sounds like a O2 problem.
SOURCE: I have a code PO102 when I ahd my engine checked.
COULD BE A FEW THINGS, WIRING SHORT TO EARTH,MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR,VOLUME AIR FLOW SENSOR OR ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, BUT CHECK AIR INTAKE HOSE FOR LEAKS/ SPLITS FIRST

Your new MAFS is not plug and play... you must clear all learnt data / fuel trim from ECU
Here is how:
Disconnect battery on + side, hold the + lead to earth (body, engine or chassis) this diffuses the system. Leave disconnected for 10 minutes, reconnect, start car and take on a 12 mile minimum drive (this is know as a drive cycle) pull over safely, switch off engine (new data now stores in ECU), start engine and happy motoring :o)

O2 sensors both but couldnt tell you if its upstream or down stream.
