Drivers side door wil not unlock

I own a 1993 Lexus Es 300 will not unlock using the remote or by manualy turning the key. There i only one door lock on the car located at the drivers side door.

-   How do you fix it if you can't get the door unlocked or open? Seeing as you need the door open to get the door panel off... I have the same exact problem. -   206Matt

There is lock linkage inside the door panel. many of the parts are plastic and are designed to break if someone attempts to break into your car (I had this happen to my 87 camery) I replaced the green plastic "knuckle" and it fixed it.
