Fluid Leaks in Hemi 5.7L Vehicles

I have both a 2004 Dodge 1500 extended cab and a 2006 Dodge Cgrger with the 5.7L Engine.  I noticed first on the area beneathe the trucka pinish/purpleish puddle under the fdrivers side of the engine area.
I assumed sterring power and topped it off (it was marginally low between the fill and MAX line).  It has started again and the steeering groans during low speed sharp turns.
It has now started on the Charger.  Same color, same loacation.  The steering wheel fluid in the Charger measures fine.
Any ideas?

Power steering is making noise and a little hard to turn wheel when truck is not moving. It started when wheather got a little cooler. Do they have a filter that can be replaced and do i have to remove pump or just reservoir to do it?

If your car steering is groaning chances are you need the power steering pump repaced. Open the hood and look for fresh moisture and you can usualy trace it back to the leak.
Or take a large piece of card board and park the front of your car on it, trace around the front wheels and let it set unitl enough fluid is gatthered to identify color and texture, then take your car along with the cardboard to a service station you trust

2006 Dodge 1500 5.7 hemi-Changed the power steering pump. 1,500 miles later the steering is very hard at low speeds. Is there air in the system, bad pump, or maybe rac & pin issue?

Indicates the pump not producing enough,in park rev the engine to say 1200 rpm and see if it acts the same as 20mph turn steering at same time.

Check/clean the MAP sensor and throttle position sensor. This should fix the issue. Its a common problem with Chrysler products.

I have an 04 ram 1500 w/ hemi. The air flow in cab seems to be low. I've read it could be due to a bad vaccum check valve. Where would this be located & how would I get to it ?

Under the engine air filter system of the truck I have noticed the hard plastic vaccume lines break really easily if broken I use gas hose and screw clamps to keep all the air in the system

Where is the o2 sensor on a 1500 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7 litre hemi

On most newer vehicles, there are either 2 or 4 sensors. There should be at least 1 upstream sensor between the engine and convertor, and the other one is down stream after the convertor.

Vehicles with dual cats or dual exhaust sometimes have a pair for each side. Look near the convertors..........
