hi as for brakes warning light on? this is also a warning for low fluid level check out? if fluid is very low? check for leaks on brake system ? or if not too low this may just be fluid displacement as brakes wear considering age of car ?? top up fluid then check light ? as for generator light ? best you check if alternator is giving out sufficient power by using volt meter ?

By any chance did you find urethane button parts on the drivers floor mat?

Look under the dash at the brake pedal lever just below the pivot point for a small plate with a hole in it. Normally the hole has a white/yellow urethane (rubber) button in it that makes contact with the brake light switch turning the brake lights off. If this button is missing the brake lights will stay on all the time and run your battery down. If your brake lights have been on steady all this time they could burn out too. The bad part is that no one knows when you are braking and you could get into an accident and worse, found liable for not having your car in a safe operating condition resulting in a ticket and so on. While you might be able to find a substitute for the button, that could damage the brake light switch plunger tip making matters worse. The button from Hyundai is very cheap and a quick fix.

I have hyundai accent 2002 & Suddenly the brake light on the back came on & is not going off even I turned off my car. I tried & finally I needed take my battery off the connection. can you...

on the brake pedal there is a switch, when you push the pedal the small plunger gets pushed in and makes a contact which completes the circuit and gives you brake lights. More than likely the plunger on the switch is stuck on the inward position and causing your brake lights to stay on.it is easy to replace, either two screws or you twist it out of the bracket, depending on your model.

Was driving Hyundai Accent 2002. Suddenly the power steering stopped working, the emergency brake light and battery light came on. Car will now not turn over. Under the hood, some belts seem to be missing....

Your belt broke, either something is wrong with a pulley and caused the belt to brake or the belt was just old and broke on its own. Either way needs a belt put back on then see if anything else is wrong

The brake lights on my 1996 honda accord with not turn off even when the car is compeletely off

Check the brake light switch located under the dash on the bracket for the brake pedal, the switch is probably burnt or stuck in closed position. Replace the switch and it should be ok

Immobiliser ?????? so i have been told

If, when you switch the ignition on, you get a dash light on, the symbol is a car with a key overlaid, you have somehow activated the immobilser You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, this may reset the immobiliser, If this does not work you will have to contact a Hyundai dealer to get the immobiliser unlock code.
