Hi mohamed_a166 to reset the service light you will find a round diagnostic connector in the engine compartment, normally found on the left hand side by the suspension turrett. unscrew the top and you will find the pin connectors, You can either connect the correct service tool to reset the lights or with the ignition switched off, connect a length of wire from pin number 7 to an earth on the car, then switch the ignition on while the wire is still connected and the lights should reset after approxamately 15 seconds. I hope this works for you regards Mark.

Slide under your BMW wearing very little. Yell loudly and ask somebody how do you change your oil. See what happens and
keep an open mind about it.

Bmw 361i what year model?

Not entirely sure what you're trying to ask, so I'll take a shot in the dark. maybe you're asking - "what model years was the BMW 316i produced?"

If so, it was produced 1990-1993 (with a 99hp engine) and from
1994-1998 (with a 101hp engine). More here:

Oil service an inspection lights are on

Not sure how long you have owned a BMW. These cars have a service light as you see. When the light comes on it basically telling you that the oil needs changing and serviced. When you do have the oil changed, make sure the light is reset by the business. The light has to be reset or it will stay on. I'm thinking the light is on a 3000 miles service.

Inspection 1 service
Oil and oil filter
A/C microfilter

Inspection 2
Air filter
Oil and oil filter
Spark plugs
ATF(transmission fluid)
Diff oil

All of the above are to be done with inspection on the braking system, suspension linkages, wheel bearings, lights etc.

Bmw 1996 316i i have had the head gasket skimmed new gaskets on there is white smoke coming out of the exhust. and the oil in the head is like a carmel colour like cream but its not losing power or...

Hi,
Something is wrong with the head to engine connection. The white smoke is water burning from the sylinder(s) and the cream colored oil means you're getting water in the oil... this isn't good. You'll have to remove the head and re-assess this connection. Make sure the gasket is correct to all the water jacket ports and upon reinstallation, follow the correct torque sequence for the head.
I hope this helps, though it's not good news... sorry.

Hi have a BMW 316i. It's just had a full service, before hand it felt as though the car was misfiring but now there is no power until the car heats up, it then runs ok with the occasional hiccup

IF ALL PLUGS AND WIRES +COILS BEEN CHANGED FUEL FILTER CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID + FILTER. MAKE TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL IS CORRECT .IF YOU HAD A FULL TUNE UP.YOU COULD HAVE LOW COMPRESSION ON SOME OF THE CYLINDERS.AND TIMING CHAIN WORN.THESE 2 THINGS WILL CAUSE NO POWER.ALSO RESTRICTED EXHAUST OR MUFFLER.

What fuse do i change for the cigar lighter in a 1994 bmw 316i?

If you have a test light, just check your fuses with it. Find a good ground, like the door hinge, and touch each side of the fuse with the key in the "on" position. You just touch the little silver part on the fuse. It should have power to both sides. If it doesn't it's burnt out. Or, you can pull them out, one at a time and check them visually.

Radiator removal BMW 316i

hi, the two clamps that secure the radiator have a small slot on the top, if you insert a small screwdriver into the slot and use it as a pry bar you should be able to unclip the holding clamp and it then releases like a hinge.
