How would that have gotten past you?
Peter, I have gone that route but 499 for a mirror is a little crazy, and I have checked salvage yards and nothing. Hoping someone has cheaper alternative. Also is there other mirrors I could use that are compatiable?
A salvage yard can get one by using their computer system & finding one from around the country
already tried that, no go.

One of your courtesy light switch's is defective, it can be in any of the five doors (rear hatch has 2), Ford can determine which one (courtesy light switch) is at fault by using a NGS (New Gen Star Tester) to monitor the switches through the Generic Electronic Module of your truck, these switches are attached to the door latch assembly and are time consuming to replace, so the Ford tester is the cheapest option.

You will have to remove glovebox and possibly dash panel to access the cabin filter compartment. Once you get the screws out and open the door, you then can pull out and exchange the filter

You probably have a bad door switch that is located in the door latch.If the vehicle tells you which door is ajar I would try a good penetrating oil first and if not replace that door latch.It will take a bit of working the latch before it will start to work if thats all it is so have some patients with it.
