Question about 1993 Toyota Pickup
My 93 toyota auto trans is not shifting right. it is fine going from first to second but then it holds on to second and has to be reved up to a much higher rpm to go into third. from there it does not want to go into o/d, when driving down the freeway at 60 mph it will not go into o/d then when you let off the accelerator it seems to free wheel but won't hit o/d. The fluid is fine. it has 109,000 miles I have only had the truck for 6,000 miles and don't know what the service was like before. otherwise it has been running really well. The problem came on all of a sudden. Any help would be appreciated Thanks.
MMMMMMM sounds like you lost a sincro in the tranny. Is the fluid over filled? I really recommend lucas tranny solution it works wonders. hope you find your way.
