Question about 1992 Cadillac DeVille
Freeze plugs are usually located on the sides of the engine block. There are more than one on an engine. There purpose is to "give way" and push out and allow a place for water to expand when it freezes in the event that you don't have enough anti-freeze/coolant in your radiator when the temperatures get below freezing.
