Question about 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
Need to know how the rods are installed in the engine, are the bearing tangs to the center of the engine or to the out side or all to the right or left?
I talked to a friend of mine that owns a machine shop that rebuilds a lot of gas engines. He has a program called Prosis that gives spec for rebuild of almost any engine, it had notes that gave the instructions for installing the rods.
I have been a diesel mechanic for over 40 years and the repair manuals that I work with always give this information. The auto repair manuals at the auto parts stores leave out a lot of details that is important for repairs of any major project.
