Question about 2004 Volkswagen Jetta
Hey Guys.. This problem is the Coil Packs. There is a recall out on all 1.8t Motors. If you haven't had an issue, its no rush but should be completed. If you have the sputtering, low power, struggle from the engine, bring it in to an Audi/VW dealer. They'll fix it free of charge. Done and Done.

I had the same exact problem and just fixed this on my '04 Jetta it was the ignition coil. Test each ignition coil while iddleing engine. You'll hear and notice the differece on the good one and not on the bad.
