Try replacing the engine position sensor, that should fix the problem. get a simple diagnostic computer for under $50.00, it will tell you all the codes for what is wrong with the truck.

I'm having a problem. I have an 84 mustang gt

The 1984 model could be throttle body injected or a regular 4 barrel carb. The GT model is supposed to have a carb.
CFI is central fuel injection which is like TBI. The throttle body has two injectors mounted in the center, one for each bank.
If it has a carb you may have some adjustments you can make. If it is fuel injected you don't. The computer monitors the engine temp and exhaust gas to regulate fuel mixture.

Problems with 93 chevy blazer

Your blazer has central fuel injection (CFI). You said you changed injectors, but your injector in inside the intake manifold, and only has one injector and a "spider" of nylon tubes from the central injector to each intake port. It is common for these spiders to break, causing fuel to leak into the inside of the manifold, and cause problems like you described. The spiders are available as reconditioned and are quite expensive,

I own a ford 1985 thunderbird with a CFI fuel system i recently replaced fuel pump and cleaned injectors and still the injectors will not spray, everything has power and i am really baffled by this. any...

The PCM, engine computer commands the inectors to open at the right time. They hardly go bad, but I have a PCM for a 3.8L engine if you really need it.
First, check to see if you have 12 volts at the injector. Disconnect the injector connector and only probe the wire providing power from the ignition switch. DO Not probe the oher wire going to the computer. If you have vltage., check to see if you have 34 to 40 psi of fuel pressure. There is a schrader valve (tire valve) on the fuel rail to do this.
ALso, when you turn key to ON, listen careflly for relays to click under the das and listen for the fuel pump to hum in the tank for 5 seconds.

reort results.

I have a 85 chevrolet c-10 with a fuel problem, I replaced both sending units and the selector valve and put a new electric fuel pumb on it. If I run a fuel line to bypass the selectorthe truck will run...

Troy, I believe on that fuel system, it is a CFI. It looks like a carberator but there is a single fuel injector in it. I believe the fuel line that goes to the injector fails and causes lack of fuel flow. I suggest running a fuel pressure test to verify the pump is working properly and if I'm not mistaken, I believe there is an updated part for the injector and fuel line. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Truck won't stay running

Check the fuel pressure at the Shredder Valve, You should have 60PSI to 65PSI upon start and should drop about 5PSI when running. If your fuel pressure is good then it may be a bad injector system. The fuel injector spider system that the vortec has are know to go bad, from the fuel pressure regulator to the puppet fuel valves. Change the fuel filter first if it has not been changed yet and have the fuel pressure check. Good luck and keep me posed. Note: it's been know that spraying ether to start the vortec with the spider injector system has got the puppet valves to catch fire and melt the ends of the puppet valve leading to the replacement to the whole system. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

Cannot get 1987 chevy van 20 to keep running... stalls out

Best do a fuel pressure test. Should have chg. fuel filter from the get go. The only other filter is on the end of the fuel pump in tank. Bad gas and dirty gas will plug up fuel filter, hense burn pump up.
