Why does my 95 buick riviera run for a few miles then die ?

Sensor string may have a bad sensor, the mass airflow meter may need cleaning. Fuel pressure may too low. Run a diagnostic test to find the offending part.

Car won't run when hot

It could be neither, If your engine is getting too hot, it can be in the cooling system, like the water pump, radiator, belt and the like, or engine timing may be off, and so forth. You even may have low coolant or a head gasket problem or cracked head, depending on the diagnostics. Just changing the spark plugs by themselves will not make the engine run hot, and while you can have ign module, etc failure when the engine is at normal operating temperatures, they by themselves should not make the engine run hot. Hope this helps you, Rick
