Question about 1995 Toyota Camry
After I turn off the engine, remove the key and then open the driver door, the headlight won't shut off if I leave it on. It should turn off immediately after opening the driver door.
One of the suggestion I found was to replace the headlamp relay. Is this correct? If so, how to remove the old relay,is it just unplug it? I tried to unplug it but it's kind hard to come off. Do I need more power to unplug it?
Before you go into any extensive electric workup, you should first check the trigger on the door to see if it is defective. It happens often in ice cold weather on old vehicles. It is a little black mushroom held by spring on the frame where the door has contact with. Wiggle it a few times to see if it turns the lights off.
