Question about 2002 Ford Explorer

Car raidio 2002 ford explorer, i need to know which wire is the remote wire in the back of the stock radio. And which speaker wire is which color , also maybe a diagram suggestion. Thanks so much

    Side question.. We tried to hook up a system in my 2002 sport but now the left side speakers aren't working..the box isn't spliced onto the speakers anymore and they aren't blown because I swapped the left and right back speakers... any tips?

Speakers: L/F - OG/LG [+] LB/WH [-]

R/F- WH/LG [+] DG/OR [-]
WH/YE HOT f2 20 amp fuse box
BK/PK HOT VPWR
RD/BK illumination
RD/LB Hot in start f2 5 amp fuse box

BK/OG ground
as far as I know there isn't a "remote" wire unless you are dealing with steering wheel switches

Speaker wire colors


1991 Ford Explorer XLT Radio and Speaker Wire Colors
Pulled out the stock radio and found two plugs on the back of it. One plug had 7 wires (Power, Dimmer, Amp etc.) and one had 8 (Speakers).
7 wire plug (I could see these wires immediately from the plug):
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ wire = Light Green w/ Yellow Stripe
Car Radio Ground Wire = Black
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ wire = Yellow w/ Black Stripe
Car Radio Dimmer Wire = Light Blue w/ Red Stripe
Car Radio Illumination Wire = Orange w/ Black Stripe
?? Don't know ?? Red Wire (No power to wire Constant or Accessory)
Car Radio Amp Wire = Blue
8 Wire Plug (Wires were wrapped in a grey outer sleeve, had to cut sleeve to get to wires.):
Right Front:
White w/ Green Stripe (+)
Brown (no stripe) (-)
Right Rear:
Purple w/ White Stripe (+)
Light Blue (no stripe) (-)
Left Front:

Here are the factory wire colors, please rate this solution to your problem, a note any stereo store that sells auto decks has adapter wiring harnesses to do a direct plug in of your DIN standard radio you are trying to install, no cutting of the factory harness, they are cheap
