Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck 2WD
On the alternator did you put the little washers where the regulator bolts on back of the alt they must be tight and also the ground cable from the battery to the alt bracket must be tight and grounded sounds like a loose connection
the washers go between the alternator and wires coming out of the harness and the alt also it probalbly goes dead occasionally when you crank it up
